Being a proud Episcopalian

Posted on July 21, 2012 by Bishop Jos Tharakan

In the recent days, after our General Convention, there were some interesting, damaging and challenging articles on the web about us. I wish you could all read them and reflect them. Read the responses for each of them. I am proud to be an Episcopalian. Why shouldn’t? The price we pay dearly for being Episcopalians. Here are reports on us all over and then some reflections that might be of interest to you.

To be fair, here is the article that appeared in Wall Street Journal.

Here are the responses to the article above.

Episcopal Church Is Radically Faithful to Its Tradition

Episcopal churches: Short on politics, sexuality debates and long on Jesus

What ails the Wall Street Journal: Error-laden opinion on Episcopalians

We blessed to be in the company of great people.

Please pray with me, “Lord make me a prophet, that I may not be afraid of being beheaded for justice and mercy”.
